A local, newly formed band from the Rogue Valley who play original folk music they describe as "equal parts Radiohead, Zeppelin, Cake and Jazz." They host an open jam at Caffe Diem in Medford on "roughly" every Friday night from 7-9pm.

Gypsy Soul
In the vein of Sarah McLachlan, Eva Cassidy and Fleetwood Mac, Gypsy Soul's gourmet music creates a genre-defying aural tapestry. With its soulful blend of Acoustic Rock, Celtic and Americana roots, this highly accomplished pair is hailed as "one of the most brilliantly instrumented and vocally adept bands alive and kicking," by the OC WEEKLY. Karen lists her musical influences to include Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Big Mama Thornton, Sarah Vaughan, Jessie Mae Hemphill, Billie Holiday, Koko Taylor, Alberta Hunter, Victoria Spivey, Lucille Hegamin, Lucille Bogan, Sugar Pie DiSanto and of course, Etta James.

Washtub Dave, Sage Meadows, Bekkah McAlvage, and Jeremy Hickman make up this country/folk/bluegrass band from Ashland.

Montana Soul
Montana Soul from Ashland combine American folk and blues, rock and country, bluegrass and gospel, native chants and their own original music.

From Bend, OR Moon Mountain Ramblers have drawn five musicians together to create an original high desert sound and a soulful interpretation of traditional bluegrass, jazz/swing and country tunes. Look for them at various venues in Ashland.

Monk
An Ashland hip/hop reggae band. They can be seen this summer at the Summer Solstice Jam Fest June 20 and 21 in Selma, OR.

The Natives of Nowhere can be seen a the Beanery in Ashland on Tuesdays from 5-7pm.

One Horse Shy is a gathering of songwriters and seasoned musicians delivering a fresh brew of Americana. Featuring the powerful songwriting and performances of Mandy Bryn and Cris Kelly, One Horse Shy also takes advantage of the writing and singing talents of bass player Mysha Caruso. With the addition of Bryan Helfrich on drums, the Americana style quintet formed in 2007 has taken the Ashland, Oregon music scene by storm

Chris plays guitar, piano and harmonica. He plays at various venues around Ashland. He also hosts an open mic at Northwest Pizza, Tuedays at 7pm.

Often described as "Conscious Acoustic Soul", his music is soulful, powerful, earthy and keeps you moving. Drew hails from Canada. He can usually be seen at the Midsummer Festival in Ashland.

Craig is a singer/songwriter who lives in Ashland. He hosts an open mic at Alex's on Wednesdays at 9pm and at the Siskiyou Microbrew Pub on Thursdays at 7pm.
